Our virgin centrifuged coconut oil is USDA certified organic by Integrity Certified International.
Produced without heat, our virgin centrifuged coconut oil is made from fresh coconuts opened less than 48 hours after they are picked from the trees. First the coconuts are shelled and the coconut meat is chopped and placed in an expeller press. The production temperature never exceeds 25° C or 78.8° F (room temperature). The resulting coconut milk emulsion is then chilled slightly to 10° C (50° F) so that the oil will “pull out of solution.” This chilling process helps to break up the protein emulsion that holds the oils in solution. Using a large centrifuge, the emulsion is separated into the pure oil. This method of extraction requires no heat at all. It works as a traditional cream separator would that is used for separating cream from cow’s milk. The result is high quality, clean and pure tasting coconut oil.

1 cup Virgin Oil De Coco Crème
3/4 cup raw carob
6 Tbsp raw agave nectar (or more to taste)
A pinch of sea salt
You can add vanilla or other flavors such as mint as well. Blend all in a blender until smooth and creamy. Place in little cups or dividers and place in freezer for an hour. Keep refrigerated as this will melt.
